Voted San Diego's "Best Photographer" I'm passionate about what I do and capturing inspired moments, particularly in the beauty of human form and invite you to enjoy the views, the stories, and bring some of the captured moments into your life. I started shooting as a kid when I first picked up my dad's camera at the age of 10. So by High School freshmen year I became the Photography Editor of the yearbook in the Washington, DC area with one of the largest schools in the country of 3,000 students, where I mastered the art of photojournalism, sports, and capturing inspired moments. I helped create the first formal photography class in High School and shot members of US Congress.
Later I was incredibly fortunate to get a job that required world travel. It gave me incredible opportunities to photograph many diverse subjects, scenes, editorials, and moments, which is when I was picked up by publishers, editors, advertisers, and art collectors. My diverse work over the years has included many magazines, book covers, commercial advertising, editorial publishing, fine art displays, and registries in the U.S. Library of Congress.
I've been specializing in covers and content for men’s physique, fitness, bodybuilding, and romance novels, in addition to judging competitions in the US and Mexico. Although I also managed a film production company, I balance my photography with also doing Organization Development ("OD") work for companies, the government, and military to create healthy organizations and a new generation of masterclass leaders with higher emotional intelligence who have a positive impact on empowering others. I love the balance between right and left brains. I also volunteer for CCI (Canine Companions for Independence) to help raise and train service dogs to empower the lives of others.
